In 2016, I started ShaktiStri as a place to share what I was learning about life and career, and to highlight the strength of trailblazing women, hoping that anyone who arrived here would find something that would help them build confidence, grow, and step into their own potential.

I didn't stop writing because I stopped caring. I stopped because life took over.

Between raising two young boys, health challenges, job changes, and constant setbacks, I was left drained, functioning day to day on empty. And just when it felt like I was finding my footing again, the ground would shift.

There was no dramatic breakthrough. No single moment where everything changed. I crawled my way back slowly, learning to listen to what my mind and body were trying to tell me. A willingness to try something new. A willingness to build, even before I felt ready.

Why I'm returning now

It's not starting over. It's starting from here.

The return of ShaktiStri is not to sound triumphant or to turn difficult years into a neat lesson on resilience. I haven't figured it all out.

I've just lived through enough to know that strength and healing isn't linear, and rebuilding often begins before we feel ready.

To pause, survive, grieve, or begin again, I realised I haven't failed, I've just been living. I've always had the desire to create the kinds of things that could make someone else feel less alone. Now I'm ready to share that.

ShaktiStri is returning as a space for women navigating resets, rebuilding after setbacks, and finding their way back to themselves, not through pressure or performance, but through honest stories, useful tools, and the kind of support that helps you move forward, from wherever you are.

If you're curious about where this began, here's the older version of ShaktiStri from 2016. Some of it still holds. Some of it I've outgrown. All of it is part of how I got here.
